Join us for the 5th Annual Canstruction® Madison event which takes place April 20-April 26 at West Towne Mall in Madison, WI. Hosted by MOM, the competition calls on teams to end hunger by building structures of canned goods and packaged food. All food is donated to the MOM Food Pantry, serving Madison, Middleton and Cross Plains. For more information, visit CanstructionMadison.org.
MOM prevents homelessness and end hunger in the West Madison, Middleton and Cross Plains areas, distributing over a million pounds of food in 2014 through MOM’s progressive food programs. The Clothing Center provided nearly 100,000 pounds of clothing, freeing up needed financial resources for rent, medical expenses, and other necessary expenses. MOM’s Eviction Prevention program also prevented over 500 households by providing small Eviction Intervention and Utility grants, combined with case management and a caring ear, helping families maintain the stability of a home.
